VCU Hazing Prevention Coalition

The Hazing Prevention Coalition is dedicated to empowering the VCU community in its efforts to combat hazing. This coalition plays a pivotal role in educating the community about hazing, raising awareness of its consequences, fostering a culture of zero tolerance for hazing practices, and promoting proactive responses when hazing incidents are detected. Furthermore, the coalition offers valuable resources aimed at facilitating safer and healthier approaches to member orientation and integration processes.

VCU Joins Hazing Prevention Consortium

Virginia Commonwealth University will join the sixth cohort of colleges and universities in the Hazing Prevention Consortium led by StopHazing, a research-to-practice initiative designed to build an evidence base for improving campus environments. Member schools have demonstrated a commitment to eliminate hazing and a readiness to launch a comprehensive, campuswide approach to prevention.
